Town Office Closing Early
The Brownville Town Office will be closing at noon on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 for a staff meeting.
Budget Committee Members Needed
The Town of Brownville is searching for volunteers to work on the 2023 budget. The committee meets four times between the end of December through the month of January. Contact the Town Office (207) 965-2561.
Part-Time Public Works
The Town of Brownville is seeking applications for a part-time Public Works Operator. Duties include seasonal road maintenance and repair, operation of plow equipment, loader, backhoe, dump truck and various other power/equipment tools. Must have Class A or B CDL. Hours and work schedule will vary. Compensation based on experience. Submit your completed application to the Town Office.
Part-Time Site Manager
Penquis Solid Waste Corporation is seeking applications for a part-time Site Manager for their facility in Milo. Waste management, supervisory and budgeting experience desired. Approximately 5-10 hours per week. Site is open 2 days a week in winter, 3 days a week in summer. Compensation based on experience. See below for a complete job description and application.
